Swan grew out of the problem of hanging up jumpers and shirts without either stretching the collar or threading the hanger in from below. With Swan you first slide one side of the collar all the way in and then comfortably thread on the other side. This saves time and protects the collar.

The hanger is bent from a 6-millimetre stainless steel wire, with chamfered ends.

Remarkably, this function gives rise to the shape of a swan, with the centre of mass located exactly in the middle of the hook.
